Yup, they didn't know about it. But we are talking about Shinichi, not just a normal son. Its nothing weird with them leaving him alone with Vermouth.
Plus, they are not leaving him alone, they are still inside the same house, and the FBI available too. The precaution are still there even they didn't tell anything to Shinichi.

The other part you mentioned beside that, believing Shinichi will bring down organization, got saved in New York. Nobody know about it beside Vermouth herself. So nobody know that Vermouth is in Shinichi "side". Its not the part of why they left Shinichi alone with her without warning.
They just believe and trust their own son a lot, they believe nothing wrong will happen, and even if something wrong happen, their son could handle it.

And just like other commenter said below this, they are not leaving Shinichi alone when they and FBI's are still in the same building.

A lot of things surprised me this episode:
1. The Kudo Yusaku Conan's been with tonight is Vermouth in disguise, not Kaito Kid.
2. It was all a premeditated plan by the real Kudo Yusaku.
3. The culprit in this episode was voiced by Tomatsu Haruka, one of my favorite VAs.
4. The FBI Murders Arc is coming soon...?

The one thing I'm still having a hard time believing is that Conan didn't verify Vermouth somehow. Maybe he's lucky he didn't, if he discovered Vermouth's ruse, she would've killed him. Or maybe not based on the past comments, my memory of previous DC events is spotty since it's been running for so long and I don't rewatch anything

She refuses to kill him or Ran. She protects them from harm. If he found out, she would've probably done something to get away, but wouldn't go so far as to murder.

From the very first time I saw that smile of the shadowy figure in the pharmacy, I knew it was Vermouth, even when they said it was Kaito, I was sure it was her.
And when she failed to solve the cases I became more sure of it. Kaito would've guessed it as fast as Conan.
I also knew that the presenter was the murderer, not because I had clues, but because she's the only one presented with a viable relationship to one of the victims

WOW what plot twist XD, poor Shinichi got prank by his parents

I got to hand it to the mangaka. I was disappointed in the past two episodes, due to there only being one suspect so it was really obvious who the killer was, but the end of this one brought it back for me. I was not expecting Vermouth at all for some reason. After initially suspecting it wasn't Kaito Kid, because I thought it was poisoning- and he wouldn't just happen to be there to overhear their sickness, I sort of forgot and just accepted that it was Kid as the arc progressed. But then what doubly shocked me was the post credits and the fact that Yusaku and the FBI were already onto it too, and that they had planned the whole thing out! Man I love these kind of episodes. Like that initial Vermouth and Akai arc which is still by far my favorite scene in Detective Conan, maybe all of anime, when he pulls off the Haibara mask, with Yukiko or Hattori pretending to be Shinichi (I think), and Akai with the shotgun, and Ran showing up... thinking back on that episode it's still so cool. There were like 10 plot twists in a row. Definitely my favorite episode of this show, and one of the coolest things I've ever seen put to screen.

So this means conan literally exposed himself in front of Vermonth and now she knows something, not everything because even though they met alot of times but this changes every thing 😮
